      Recently, our company’s high-purity（HPLC>98%）decursin was realized mass production.

     Our company’s researchers used Peucedanum herbs as raw material, provided a safe, high efficiency, low cost method for industrialized production of decursin, which won the innovation fund for small and medium-sized technology-based firms(supported by ministry of science and technology) and "generic technology development" project fund (Hunan Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs). The product was inspected by the national import&export commodity inspection and quarantine,which the purity is 99% or more. Our company got two patents for this invention and published several research papers.

     High purity decursin can be widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and cosmetics, etc. It can be used as a medicinal material for treatment of leukemia, diabetes, high blood pressure, renal toxins, inflammation, and cancer. And also can be raw material for whitening and anti-allergy in cosmetics.

     In addition to the above purposes, the researches proved that decursin can effectively inhibit Helicobacter pylori. The 2005 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine award the two scientists of Australian Barry Marshall and Robin Warren for their discovery of Helicobacter pylor and its role in gastritis and peptic ulcer disease. Researches show that helicobacter pylori can be detected in gastric antrum of 60% - 80% of gastric ulcer patients and 70% - 100% of the distal duodenal ulcer patients. The bacteria are closely related diseases with gastric and duodenal ulcer, chronic gastritis, the stomach cancer, urticaria, cardiovascular disease, anemia etc. Also it’s one of the most direct bacteria of the halitosis. Decursin has the inhibitory effect on Helicobacter pylori, which provide new hope for the treatment of Chronic gastritis etc.
